Vivilutions

I've been coy with this, but I wanna express is publicly. I've made allusions go being malleable, and over the past day been calling myself polymorphic. It's time to explain what that means.

Basically, I can evolve into any eeveelution, and devolve back to an eevee. Each one has different quirks—for example, rather than being made of rubber, when I'm a flareon I'm a plushie. I call these forms my Vivilutions, because it's funny, and also because it hints that there's more to it than your bog standard eeveelutions. I evolve when exposed to elemental energy, or things related to the Vivilution's quirk. For example, fire and heat may trigger me to become a flareon, but so might a cozy blanket fort, or persistent hugging. I can wear an everstone to suppress the evolution, as normal.

I'm not gonna detail them all now, I think it's better to let it happen organically. I just wanted to out this out there to everyone who wasn't the one friend who galaxy brain guessed it from the colours and shape of my eight-pointed star emoji.

This eevee is smaller than a yinglet and that's fine actually. Good even.

Pictures on Pillowfort because I don't have the spoons to deal with strict upload limits.

Been keeping this under wraps, 'cause it's always fun to show off in VR first. It's me! Made using the Winterpaw Chibi Mini Canine base, as with Tanwyn and Sparkles's avatars.

Design not finalised, of course, but I am keeping things pretty simple. We eevees are pretty malleable though, and I've got plenty up my sleeve in that regard... Wait, I don't have sleeves, do I? Actually, I do sometimes. They're one of my tricks. That I keep in my sleeves? Oh no, that's worse.

Okay, do I think I got badges for every site belonging to someone who's used our badge; and quite a few mutuals or just cool people too? Got a couple bookmarked to sort out in the morning, who either provided multiple or didn't link in the easiest format, for when I have more spoons.

Badges are currently on our index page, but I may move them to a subpage if it gets too busy. Let us know if you wanna trade badges, the "cool" bit about "cool sites" is how people are putting themselves out there.

Y'know rune essence? I'm like if rune essence was a rubber animal.

I'm Vivi! An eevee! Rubbery little creature, with some surprises for another time. No face reveal yet, but you can see my pixel emoji in my icon! The fun thing about these is they can give some insight into what we were thinking when choosing an emoji...

... We knew the 88x31 was probably gonna take some maintenance, but outdated in under 24 hours of putting it on our site? *Sigh.* Okay, got the new version uploaded there. Should be good for a few months at least now.

Feeling blurry. Feels like Sparkles is switching out, but who's switching in? An incongruent collection of feelings. Inanimate. Curvy. Big. Maybe we'll figure out in the morning...

Link here!

Includes some... borrowed... code for implementing it as a link, if like us you didn't know how. We'll definitely be looking out for badges from other cool people to stick on our own site, but not tonight.

We're enjoying working on the site, even if we are being pretty slow on it. I've got custom CSS on my (unfinished, not hard to find anyway) bio page, which was a fun way to make it my own. It's kinda janky, but honestly, I think I like my page being bad like that.

First was a period where the party tended to wounds, and began identifying their hoard of magic items. The former went well, the latter went badly. They rescued some prisoners who gave them some supplies.

Then they went into the tunnel, finding themselves at an ominous rusted door. They ignored it in favour of surfacing. They came up inside a tent, and heard cultists chanting outside. They quickly hatched a plan fo distract the cultists by lighting the tent on fire, using some wine they had as accelerant. It... actually worked okay? It was funny to have the one player roll survival for initiative, as they lit the fire. The fight was an interesting one. The cultists released their demon from its cage purely on the basis that the tent was on fire. The players only knew something metal had opened, not having heard it over the sounds of the ritual, or spotted it because it was beside the tent when fhe swashbuckler peeked out the front.

The swashbuckler did end up taking a lot of aggro, on the basis of being the first to leave the tent and nobody wanting to go inside a burning tent. He stayed up on 3 HP though, and the gunslinger got him some heals mid-fight. The demon tried to flee, but the gunslinger for a snipe off ~90 ft. away.

Next session the door will be revisited, as it's their only lead. We're looking forward to their exasperation as they fight an enemy that has hardness reducing all damage by more than their average hit :3 (A crit will break that down, so it should be fine?)

Drone that insists on cooking all your meals for you. Generous servings becoming the norm, plenty of snacks between meals. You wonder if a three course dinner every night is too extravagant, but the drone won't take no for an answer.

The stuff Tali wrote is now on the site. Also got everyone's names and pronouns, but I held off on putting any deeper a placeholder bio for anyone else.

Internal linking exists, but you can only descend deeper. It's really annoying to read on a monitor, but works fine on mobile; the opposite of what we expected from low skill development.

  • Got a contract from the Farming Guild to grow woad.
  • No woad seeds, so I check the Guild's shop. They don't sell them.
  • Look up where to get them. Pickpocket Master Farmers.
  • Don't have the Thieving level, so travel across the continent to steal from fruit stalls.
  • Return to the Guild, pickpocket a Master Farmer.
  • Nearly die from being slapped so much, gain another Thieving level.
  • Finally get one (1) woad seed.
There is one place that has better odds than Master Farmers... it's Farming Guild contracts. Did get three teak seeds out of it, so it was worth it, eventually.

60 Attack, 50 Defence, 50 Strength. Enough to rock a dragon long and a granite shield. Feeling geared up enough to give Barbarian Assult a go for the fighter torso, to replace this addy platebody. 20 Attack and Strength levels and we open up defenders as an option too.
