Doing them in one day really helps with the two mandatory reruns of the Pass; and getting Arandar and charter ships as alternative routes feels great.

It is a little weird to me that they went out of their way to put a limestone rock and a furnace in Tirannwn… but not a pestle and mortar, pickaxe, or most importantly, fractional distilator. It’s like they almost didn’t want to send you through the Pass a second time.

Did it all for a clue scroll. Now we have a Wildy coordinate clue .-. That’s gonna be fun.

Gave in and looked at the hints for the puzzlebox our sibling got us for out birthday. Before even reaching a hint, we found information that we didn’t really see a way of infering—apparently the first step is to solve a maze you can’t see.

After brute forcing the maze, I got through to an anagram puzzle. I used a solver for that; anagrams are… I dunno. They feel a bit rubix cube-y. You either know how to do it or you don’t, it’s not really something you can work out for yourself a lot of the time. For different reasons—rubix cube’s require taking three steps back to take four steps forwards, anagrams require an encyclopaedic knoweldge of the word pool.

The other puzzles I have open look more interesting, but I get the feeling there are some inferences I’m missing as groundwork for them. I’m taking a break for a bit again. I’m not sure we were the target audience for this, really, despite generally enjoying puzzles.

Been using a VRChat avatar with wingarms, and now I wanna give making them work another try. Not that I've ever really tried as Echo; that experimentation was all back when it was just Leo, our fursona who kinda was mostly me and Sparkles and a bit Tali..

Hopefully being a plushie, and thus unconstrained by things like functional anatomy, or the laws pf physics as pertaining to flight, I should have some more room to find something that fits.

Successfully reverse engineered who’s fronting now by working out whose influence would turn Vivi espy right before es switched out.

Most of our closer plural friends we either know are about as inexperienced as us, or we’re resonably sure of it. Which isn’t normally a big deal. But now in particular, it’s like, I don’t really know who I can reach out to about some stuff… From either the “won’t be a pain” perspective or the “they can actually help” perspective.

Played some Rivals 2 with a sibling; had a good time. Some technical issues mean I’ve been using the Steam controller, which after some fiddling with the touch pad settings is bearable.

Fleet’s really fun. Absolutely kicked our siblings but with her, but they asked me to keep playing her to learn how not to do that. Feels like she combines bits of Young Link and Ness in an emjoyable fashion. One game I got both the “KO with an up special” and “juggle an opponent with three up smashes without missing” then SDed my final stock. For context our sibling was playing Loxodont, which honestly I think is just a skewed matchup.

Particular moves I’ve been enjoying: spamming the everloving fuck out of side smash. Using side special to make a big wall where I can cover low and high approaches. Uptilt feels good for comboing into aerials, which is nice. And of course lazily juggling from the ground with up smash.

Clairen’s also fun, our secondary character from Rivals 1. Not played as much of her, and definitely takes more concentration than Fleet. Need to work out when to use her neutral special, since we’re not used to having it as an option.

Got paws on the mind. Nuzzling them. Licking them clean. This form's good for cleaning—my saliva acts as a universal food safe soap. Oh sure, they were clean to begin with, but by the time I'm done they'll be positively sparkling!

Having an avatar for each form is fun, but it's really more ideal for PluralKit where I can bounce between them fast. Today I've been cycling jolteon/flareon/leafeon at a serious rate. Trying to keep any site "current" in this state is impossible. (With a free Dreamwidth account, we're limited to 15 avatars, which as a system of 14, means I get one.)

Hm… I was Meredith this morning. Then I was Vivi for a bit. Not sure who I am now. [Sparkles avatar is just out current default.]

Unsurprisingly, our main, Shovel Knight, was cut. So Meredith started off with Clairen, who continues to be alright but feeling slightly... off... Love her vibes, played a bunch of swordies in Smash, but she's never quite felt natural.

I decided to try out Fleet today, and man she can clown on the AI. Give my a bow to spam and I'm a very happy checks notes sylvy. Then I played a mirror match and realised I don't know shit about how to play Fleet. Finished things up by doing a round as Maypul, who moreso than Rivals 1 feels like a natural fit for us. Just need to sort out our KO strats. Also her victory animation has her grappling the camera with her vines which definitely made me feel some stuff.

As quite a casual player, our general thoughts on the game, I guess. Offstage feels even scarier, it feels like gou fall faster now. Fleet's recovery is super good though; I guess that's an Air thing. Grabs feel not that different—then again, we played a lot of Clairen in Rivals 1, who had a command grab. Shields are annoying though. A counter to our all out attack style :( Animations look fluid, models are good. Stages feel a bit blander than the later Rivals 1 designs, from an aesthetic perspective. Definitely wanna pick this up; though we've always had issues finding friends to play Rivals 1 with.

Hit 65 Attack and Strength in RuneScape, gaining access to the Warriors' Guild. I am now 180 kills dry on an iron defender. This is my first brutally dry grind on this account, I think. With these stats though, I think I'll do well against hespori. Or at least better.

Oh, I got good airflow in out room on Saturday with only one window open because the other one is broken. That makes sense. On the one paw ventilation good, less CO2; on the other paw our room gets colder. Hm....

Got my own page on our site now! Gonna fill in more another time, but right now it covers gender, names, and kintypes.

Tonight was a night I really appreciated using a premade adventure in Pathfinder. Immediately the players moved the opposite direction to expected. The first door they checked was locked, and the Gunslinger broke their picks on it. The second door was barricaded, and the Gunslinger jammed it even worse. So they gave up exploring east and went back west again.

The Thaumaturge and the Psychic entered a room, where they found two cultists and a demon. The cultists saw through the Psychic’s disguise, but not the Thaumaturge’s. So one of the cultists pulled the Thaumaturge aside, and informed him he was being followed by an intruder—the Thaumaturge then claimed he knew that, and was going to lure the Psychic to the prison, but he’d lost his key. So the cultist handed over his own key to the prison, before saying he had to keep attending the ritual.

The party then went back to the locked room, and tried their new key on it. They had to fight off a yeth hound, which attracted the attention of one cultist from another room—although unbeknownst to the party, their cultist “friend” prevented anyone from another room investigating. The party then failed to find a hidden note in the prison, and investigated where that other cultist had come from, finding an empty workshop—one occupant terrified away by the yeth hound, the other the one who went to investigate—and the Thaumaturge set off a cage trap that caught the Psychic. The Gunslinger was able go force it open again though.

Oh, website's updated with my short bio, and a Links page for some websites and software we find useful. Chipping away bit by bit :3

Switching is often weird, but I think Vivi's been finding this switch out particularly hard for a few reasons. It's vees first time switching out, vee's just set the record for longest recorded solo front, and vee had unfinished business. So like, I can get it'd be harder to let go. Switches can be bittersweet, one door closes for now, another opens.

Still feeling vees influence strongly, got me feeling phantom rubbery.
